The Biggest and Best Yet…

The Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival 2008 is set to be the best yet, with over 50 walks offered over 16 days. These walks and events provide the opportunity to explore the beauty and charm of the Wolds with experienced leaders keen to pass on their knowledge. There will be special interest walks, including history, geology, nature and health as well as day rambles, evening strolls and much more. So whatever your age, ability or interest, you are sure to find something to suit!

With plenty of walker friendly accommodation available and lots of places to savour local food and drink, take some time out and discover the Lincolnshire Wolds in the best possible way – on foot!

Don’t forget to join us at the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival launch on Saturday 17 May at Welton le Wold disused quarry.

And after the festival is finished?

Have you caught the walking bug and would like to explore more of Lincolnshire after the Walking Festival has ended?

Are you in your 20s & 30s and want to enjoy country walking with people of a similar age? Then why not join the Lincolnshire Walking Group, part of the Ramblers' Association, who offer an easy way to make new friends and enjoy the great outdoors, in Lincolnshire and beyond. With a wide variety of walks ranging from easy rambles to energetic mountain hikes, they also hold regular social events across the county.
