Without doubt cycling provides the best way to explore the Wolds, following either with a map discovering your own route or perhaps one of the waymarked routes. There are many B & B's in the area to enjoy a cycling holiday. A local Tourist Information Centre will have a list of accommodation to suit you.

The Lincolnshire Wolds is an ideal place for all equestrian sports. There are ample leafy country lanes and wide grass verges. There are many bridleways, few gates and a lot of horse friendly places along the way.

Bridleways provide a lovely view of the countryside and an excellent location for exercising a horse or pony.

Lincolnshire County Council and the British Horse Society have produced a booklet of numerous circular horse rides for the county, some of which explore the Wolds' countryside. The books are available to purchase from Lincolnshire County Council, Development Directorate on 01522 782070.
