Many groups from within
Lincolnshire and beyond enjoy visiting the Wolds, not only for the
natural beauty of the area but also to learn from the many different
aspects that help make the Wolds a special place. The Lincolnshire
Wolds Countryside Service has had many requests over the years about
where to take educational groups. In response to this we have
produced a listing of sites that are available for groups to visit.

Wildlife WATCH
groups
Wildlife Watch is the junior
branch of The Wildlife Trusts, the UK's leading club for young
environmentalists. There are local groups throughout
Lincolnshire - contact the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust for

Many of the sites open
to groups are within the Countryside Stewardship Scheme Education
Access Initiative and includes working farms in the Wolds. Click

Leaders must contact
each site prior to visiting, and a preliminary site visit is
strongly recommended in order for group leaders to familiarise
themselves with the site and its educational possibilities.
