Tastes of Lincolnshire is a Lincolnshire County Council / European Union funded project encouraging people to choose local food and drink.

Producers, shops and farm shops, farmhouse B&B and guesthouses, hotels, pubs, cafes, restaurants, supplying local produce are flying the Tastes of Lincolnshire flag, making them easily recognised.

 

Thorganby Beef Since 1892, the grass valleys surrounding Thorganby Hall in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds have been home to the McTurk herd of Lincoln Red cattle. The Milligan-Manby family have farmed this land for 4 generations creating a legacy of wonderful woodland and rich parkland which makes a natural habitat for their native cattle.

 

Willingham Fayre Ice Cream Speciality ice cream made with our own recipe homemade luxury dairy ice cream. Large indoor and outdoor eating areas with panoramic views of the Lincolnshire Wolds and towards Tealby. Come and see our llama family in the Pets Corner.

Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese Finest award-winning farmhouse cheese, handmade at our dairy farm on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Available at Farmers' Markets, and a variety of Cheese Shops and Delicatessens throughout the county.

Sunnyside Up Farm Shop Located between Market Rasen and Tealby, on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Sunnyside Up Farm Shop provides locally sourced, quality products.

Tastee Farm Shop A farming family who produce quality lamb on a National Trust farm in Gunby. Tastee Farm Shop has a coffee shop and fresh free-range eggs and lamb.

Leaning's Butchers Situated on the Viking Way in the picturesque village of Tealby, Leaning's Butchers shop is famous for its delicious home made Lincolnshire sausages.

Farmers markets - The public can be confident of the origin of the foods, ask questions, try samples, obtain recipes and get closer to the sources of local foods.
The selection of produce available at the Lincolnshire Farmers Markets varies from free range beef, lamb & pork, poultry,
speciality cheese, ostrich meat & eggs, venison, fruit & vegetables, organic produce, fresh herbs, ice cream & yoghurts and home made cakes.

Tom Wood Beers - Highwood Brewery stands peacefully in a fold of the Lincolnshire Wolds, surrounded by rich farming land that has for centuries provided the finest quality Malting Barley for use in the brewing of fine beers.
Fugelestou Ales Fulstow Brewery - owned by Phil and Dawn Ellis, Fulstow Brewery commenced brewing in August 2004 and have become an award-winning brewery. You can find their beer at several Lincolnshire Wolds villages such as Ludford, Belchford, Ludborough, South Ormsby and Aby just to name a few.

Batemans at Wainfleet offers prize-winning beer from one of the county's many breweries. Although the brewery isn't in the Wolds, many of its pubs are. They survive the increasingly difficult times for pubs and provide a focal point for the local community.
