European Union funded project encouraging people to choose local
food and drink.
Producers, shops and
farm shops, farmhouse B&B and guesthouses, hotels, pubs, cafes,
restaurants, supplying local produce are flying the Tastes of
Lincolnshire flag, making them easily recognised.

Thorganby Beef
Since 1892, the grass valleys surrounding Thorganby
Hall in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds have been home to the
McTurk herd of Lincoln Red cattle. The Milligan-Manby family have
farmed this land for 4 generations creating a legacy of wonderful
woodland and rich parkland which makes a natural habitat for their
native cattle. |

Tom Wood Beers -
Highwood Brewery stands peacefully in a fold of the
Lincolnshire Wolds, surrounded by rich farming land that has for

prize-winning beer from one of the county's many breweries. Although the brewery isn't in the Wolds, many of its pubs
are. They survive the increasingly difficult times for pubs and
provide a focal point for the local community.
