The
2012-2017 Draft Lincolnshire Wolds AONB Management Plan is now available
for comment until 30th November 2011.
The Plan is a formal review of the original 2004-09 Management Plan and
is a statutory document that following consultation requires adoption
from all the relevant local authorities: East Lindsey District Council,
Lincolnshire County Council, North East Lincolnshire Council and West
Lindsey District Council. In addition the final Plan will require
formal approval from all the relevant statutory consultees: the
Environment Agency, English Heritage and Natural England.
Due
to changes in legislation since the production of the last AONB
Management Plan the review process has involved the completion of a
Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), which has been produced by
Mouchel consultants on our behalf. The full SEA documents are available
on the SEA Report page. Electronic copies of the main
Draft AONB Plan and the accompanying SEA are available on request.
The
draft Management Plan is available to download or you can view a paper copy at
local libraries.
