4 July, Sunday - Summer Concert at Belchford Church

7.30 pm, a concert performed by the senior music students from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Horncastle. Tickets are £5 for adults and £4 for children to include a glass of wine or a soft drink. Please phone 01507 533454 or 01507 534363 for tickets and more information.

5 July, Saturday - 1940s Day at North Thoresby

A fun day out for all the family with many stalls, military re-enactment displays/equipment, vintage cars, tractor rides, a fly past, a pets corner plus lots more! 10am - 4.30pm. Contact 01472 840908 for further information.

 

5 & 6 July, Saturday & Sunday - Belchford Flower Festival

Open both days from 11.00am to 5.00pm. Coffee, teas and light lunches will be available in the Village Hall. The Belchford church cookery book 'Belchford Biscuits and Buns' will be on sale together with other attractions.

 

13 July, Sunday - Spilsby Show

Visit this busy local show and meet the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service and enjoy the events and attractions such as the dog show and falconry display. The show is held on Ancaster Avenue Playing Fields in Spilsby. For more information visit www.spilsbyshow.co.uk or phone 01790 753835.

 

3 August, Sunday - Revesby Show

23 to 27 August - British Superbikes 2008

The Superbike Tour stops at the county's famous Cadwell Race track for the bank holiday August. A great day out for all the family and not just bike enthusiasts and speed demons.

 

11 to 14 September - Heritage Open Days

13, 14 September, Saturday & Sunday - 1940s Day at Ludborough Railway Station

This annual 40's weekend has the Lincolnshire Military Preservation Society displaying military equipment, vehicles, etc. with re-enactments. 14 September, Sunday - Belchford Downhill

Join the community of Belchford for an exciting day of gravity racing on a closed road in the heart of the Wolds. Watch a range of carts race against the clock at speeds of up to 50mph, with nothing but gravity propelling them! There will be hot food available as well as the usual village stalls and a raffle. 27 September, Saturday  – Tastes of Lincolnshire Food Fair, Market Rasen

Held at the Festival Hall, Market Rasen, this popular food fair is bursting with Lincolnshire goodies and packed with stalls selling the freshest local produce. Cookery demonstrations will feature throughout the day. 10am to 4pm. Entrance free.
