Chalk Stream Help and Advice

A dedicated Project Officer is available to offer advice and guidance on the long term management of chalk stream habitats and identify habitat improvement opportunities. Where funding is available the project will endeavour to implement and oversee the development of a habitat improvement scheme ensuring it benefits both wildlife, by improving the habitat, and local communities, by reducing pollution and flood risk.

The Project Officer is also able to support Environmental Stewardship schemes that will benefit a chalk stream habitat.
