RiverCare
LCSP are promoting the RiverCare initiative to communities in our project area, as it empowers local residents to take ownership of their local watercourse, keeping them free of litter and encroaching vegetation, to ensure that they are the pleasant, beautiful environments that they should be for people and wildlife.
LCSP have helped to set up a RiverCare group in Horncastle and there are now several groups in Lincolnshire. If you are interested in helping out here's a few useful links;

RiverCare is an initiative delivered by Keep Britain Tidy and funded by Anglian Water. RiverCare empowers communities to set up self sustaining groups to tackle litter and other issues on their local watercourses by providing equipment, insurance, training and on the ground support.
