Alford Craft Market will be featuring ceramics at the Manor House Gardens on May 23rd 24th 25th, 2020.
There will be a full programme of "Clay" activities with stalls, demonstrations, exhibitions, films, "Pottery without tears!" taster sessions, Great Pottery Throwdown past winner Matthew Wilcock etc
It all starts NOW! We are offering a free invitation/opportunity to all Alford and surrounding villages residents to have a go with clay and MAKE A BIRD. Any bird, any shape real or imagined. These will be fired and displayed in a large installation during the Alford Craft Market Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
Collect some clay from Alford Pottery or the Alford Craft Market Shop, make your bird (s) and bring it back to Alford Pottery for firing by the end of March at the latest.
At the end of the Ceramics weekend you can collect your bird if you want it and keep it forever.
