Local history research - useful contacts and links
Lincolnshire Archives cares for several miles of original archive documents and printed reference material relating to the historical county of Lincolnshire.
(aka the East Lincolnshire Dialect Society) is dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of Lincolnshire dialect, particularly as it is spoken in the east of the County. To do this, we hold informal gatherings four or five times a year to enjoy stories, poems and songs performed in dialect, and generally have oursens a good time!
