Two separate days (next one 16th September), celebrating the recent excavation of a Roman Villa at Swinhope. Between 10.00 am and 4.00pm there will be displays of recent finds, Roman food to try and a 'real life' Roman will be with us to show how domestic life was conducted in those times.
There’s an opportunity to tour the villa site and find out its secrets from people that helped dig it up. And there’s even a special talk explaining how this site fits into the rest of the Roman world.
