Don't miss this opportunity to join the Forestry Commission to find out about the benefits of tree planting at this free meeting, Monday 11 November from 9.00am to 12.30pm.
This event, hosted by the Forestry Commission, will give the opportunity to find out more about the benefits of tree planting and woodland creation to your farm, and the increased grants available.
With speakers from the Forestry Commission, Lincolnshire County Council LincWoods project and the Farming in a Protected Landscape Lincolnshire Wolds project, we will discuss:
- the benefits of tree planting and woodland creation to your farm
- the increased grants available under the EWCO scheme
- how to manage your woodland for both income generation and to provide good quality habitat
- actions to promote woodland resilience including management of deer
- there will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, consult with forestry professionals on a 1:1 basis about opportunities on your land, and network with other farmers and landowners
There will be tea and coffee available, plus bacon rolls at 9am.
Please note as it is Armistice Day, there will be a 2 minutes silence at 11am.
Places are limited and we expect this to fill quickly so please book your space by using the link below:
