The Viking Way

The route is called the Viking Way because it crosses an area which was occupied by Norse invaders.

The route starts on the banks of the Humber in the north and winds through some of the best walking in Lincolnshire.  It finishes at Rutland Water. 

The route is available to download in sections.

PATH UPDATE:

Path changes between Stixwould and Southrey. The route now uses the Water Rail Way alongside the River Witham.
