Walkers are Welcome celebrates their 10th anniversary8th December 2017It was ten years ago that Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire became the first ever Walkers are Welcome (WaW) town. Today, there are over 110 towns and villages in England, Scotland and Wales that have become nationally accredited WaW locations.

"Ironstone Mining in the Lincolnshire Wolds" - Book Launch.8th December 2017Local heritage enthusiast Stewart Squires has completed his illustrated book that documents the relatively unknown mining history of both Nettleton and Claxby mines. The production of the book was supported by the Lincolnshire Wolds Small Grant's Scheme and also utilised the oral histories that were produced through the work of the Down Your Wold community heritage project.
