COVID-19 Update

23 March 2020

In accordance with the latest Government guidance we are advising people not to visit the AONB if it involves travelling. We hope this will help to minimise any risk of accidents in the AONB placing additional pressure on the emergency services and NHS, as well as to help limit the spread of the virus.

In these unprecedented times, please ensure you stay up to date with the latest Government Health Guidelines.

The Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service are working from home until further notice. We have also cancelled meetings and attendance at events.

This means our office will not be staffed and we are not available on our main office phone number but messages left will be monitored. We are carrying on with business as usual as far as possible and we are still working to protect and enhance the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB. If you have a query, please email or leave a voice message for the relevant team member and they'll reply or give you a call as soon as they are able.

Not sure who to contact? Meet our team. Still not sure? Email  aonb@lincswolds.org.uk and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

If you are lucky enough to live in the AONB itself and can visit without travelling, please tag us in your photos of the Lincolnshire Wolds on Twitter @LincsWoldsAONB so we can share them with the community.

Supporting local businesses

Many local independent businesses across the Lincolnshire Wolds are working out how they can continue to deliver produce and services while keeping everyone safe. We would like to support our friends during this immensely difficult time and will be sharing details from our local businesses on our social channels as they become available.

Stay safe,

Lincolnshire Wolds AONB Team
