Greater Lincolnshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy Public Consultation

29 January 2026

The public consultation on the Greater Lincolnshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy Public Consultation is now live.

The strategy has taken on board comments from earlier consultations with landowners, businesses and the general public.

It identifies the best existing areas for nature in Greater Lincolnshire; creates achievable priorities for recovering nature; and maps the best areas to create and restore habitats that can provide additional benefits, such as natural flood protection and improved air quality.

The plan does not add any new levels of protection on to sites – but it does indicate the most suitable locations for nature recovery

The consultation is open until midnight on Sunday 8 March, to have your say visit Local Nature Recovery Strategy consultation | Let's Talk Lincolnshire
