The Forestry Commission is searching for Business Development Advisors to work with farmers and landowners to identify opportunities for planting trees.
Steve Scott, Area Director, Forestry Commission East & East Midlands said:
“If you are passionate about the role forestry can play in creating a better future for England and you have a sound technical understanding of land management and/or agriculture, then we want to hear from you.”
The Business Development Advisors will be responsible for identifying opportunities for woodland creation and management that meet land-owners’ and managers’ objectives, to create a pipeline of woodland creation proposals supporting tree planting ambitions.
The Forestry Commission is open to part-time working, particularly when combined with farming or other land-based activity.
