Hemingby Village Hall Wins an Award
Following another successful bid to the Community Fund of the Big Lottery, Awards for All, along with their own match funding, Hemingby Village Hall can now offer some of the most up to date equipment to its residents and hirers.
The most recent successful bid awarded them £6688 which has allowed them to install a state-of-the-art Sound and Projector System of cinema quality. The hall now has WIFI and a wireless operated Public Address System which can be switched between rooms where necessary and operates through very high-quality in-built speakers. A projector, which can accept DVD or laptop transmission through the recorder or a wall mounted HDMI facility along with a fully automated motorised screen. Bluetooth connectivity which allows a music source to play through the hall speaker system and a "T" Loop to engage with the hearing impaired.
If that wasn't enough they have also found the time and money to install a modern LED lighting system to improve the lighting and reduce running costs. This hall is now so well equipped that it could be hired for any number of events including conferencing and presentations at a very competitive rate. Indeed, it is probably the most modern hall for hire within the local vicinity and one that welcomes enquiries to ensure its sustainability for the residents and future generations.
