LCSP Northern Becks Officer (22029) – Lincolnshire County Council
About the role
The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project is a partnership project hosted by Lincolnshire County Council and the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service.
It is estimated that 85% of the global resource of chalk streams are found within England, with a large proportion located in the Northern Becks. These freshwater habitats support some of the UK's most threatened plant and animal species such as water vole and brown trout.
We are a small but growing staff unit supported by both governmental, non governmental and not for profit organisations with a real passion to achieve the best for our chalk stream in Lincolnshire.
You will support the work of the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project Partnership and the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) Chalk Streams Strategy and Implementation Plan. You will deliver the actions of the LCSP Strategic Action Plan and the Northern Becks Catchment Plan.
Alongside this will also provide additional support to the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service activities across the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (National Landscape) and the Greater Lincolnshire Nature Recovery Strategy.
